What we need
  • 6-8 coaching sessions with a staff member
  • Actionable steps and advice to address an ongoing managerial issue
  • Assessment of the effectiveness of the Organization's leadership team
Additional details

- possible need for 1x month drop in coaching for a team of 6 managers. AND/OR
- possible need for 1 on 1, on-call coaching as needed.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a set meeting time., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have unanimous interest from management for coaching., and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,198 , allowing us to feed, house and clothe more youth!

Our non-profit, which serves LGBTQQ+ youth under aged 24 in leadership development, has grown it's infrastructure by 30% in the last year. 50% of new staff hired in the last 3 months. All of the managers and myself are new to the org and are in need of support on how to -support front line staff, carry the vision and responsibility of programming for the organization, how to regulate ourselves in the midst of growth.

  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss perceived areas of strength and area of improvement, leadership style, and assessment of team motivation and morale
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager decide on specific areas to focus on and goals for coaching sessions
  • Professional communicates if feedback from other members of the Organization will be necessary

Milestone 2: Coaching Sessions
  • In-depth discussions may include issues such as strategy and goal-setting, program management, personnel management, and board management
  • Various techniques may be employed by the Leadership Coach to achieve the desired results

Milestone 3: Wrap-up and Learnings
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional evaluate lessons learned and progress made
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss areas and actionable items to focus on going forward

LYRIC's mission is to build community and inspire positive social change through education enhancement, career trainings, health promotion, and leadership development with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQQ) youth, their families, and allies of all races, classes, genders, and abilities.
