Project details

What we need
  • 3-5 one hour strategy sessions with a social media professional covering topics like channels, messaging, content types, and posting frequency
  • A written summary of goals, target audiences and channels to prioritize
  • A starter plan of recommendations & actionable next steps to begin executing your strategy
  • Note: this project does not include the creation of social media posts or digital graphics
Additional details

Because we are a small nonprofit, our Executive Director wears the Social Media hat. She's pretty good at it but could benefit from a consistent strategy and tricks of the trade (from an expert). She's particularly concerned about doing a good job on the upcoming Giving Tuesday event.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a style guide (fonts, colors, logo, branding), and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to offer a family program with a meal, arts & crafts, and music - all adapted for and accessible to kids in wheelchairs or with medical or behavioral needs.

This project will help us get the word out to potential clients (families of kids with significant disabilities) that need our help - as well as to potential donors that want to help our clients.

Our mission

At FOCUS, our mission is to embrace and equip families of children with disabilities to make everyday life better.

What we do

Forty years ago, Atlanta parents of children with multiple disabilities had no place to turn for reassurance and support. Two families formed Families of Children under Stress, Inc., a nonprofit that provided support groups and hospital visits. After 35 years of growth and two mergers, the organization, now known as FOCUS, provides a host of critical resources for 4,500 families including community support groups, hospital visits, parent training, accessible camps and activities, and medical equipment.

Testimonials
