Project details

What we need
  • Feedback on the current website’s layout, user functionality, mobile-friendliness, visual design, content, and other key features
  • Clear articulation of the Organization’s goals for the website
  • Recommendations for improvements to help achieve the Organization’s desired goals
  • Note: If you are looking for a more specific, in-depth audit of your website's design and usability, try our Website Usability Audit project
Additional details

We are a small non profit providing education, support and advocacy for those living with mental illness and their families. We would like to overhaul our website and make it more functional as an information source to the public, help up gather data on who is using it, as well as enhance donations. Since we lack expertise about what is possible, we are looking for someone to help us plan how we should move forward to change the website.

What we have in place
  • We can walk through the current website with you. We have some goals and suggestions from an advisory board as to what we could consider. We have a lot of enthusiasm!
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to improve our outreach, increase funding, and expand our services to those affected by mental illness. As a small nonprofit, we would not be able to do this project without this support.

The project will help us move to the next step of overhauling the website using current technology and techniques for reaching our target audience. It will help us be able to adjust services and information to our audience thereby improving our ability to promote our mission of reducing the stigma associated with mental illness thereby increasing understanding, access to services, and support for those affected.
