Additional details
At Compass Affordable Housing we have been collecting specific program data utilizing data collection forms and inputting them into an excel tracker. We have an up to date tracker that has over 600 records. We have discovered that Power BI system would be a program that can manage the bulk of the data. The idea would be to effectively pull specific reports according to the need in a timely manner. An example of that would be an income increase or a debt decrease sorted by specific programs.
What we have in place
- We currently have Staff time and the fields to populate along with data, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have The subscription to Power BI but we need the training, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,868 , allowing us to use these funds for direct services and assistance to low income, homeless, and single parent households
By easily tracking and reporting program performance and data, we save many hours of direct staff time that can be used elsewhere in the organization. In addition, this information allows us to solicit more funding and serve more people in our community.
