What We Need
  • A set of key metrics to regularly track
  • Spreadsheet tool to collect data on key metrics with accompanying tables and graphs for analysis
  • Training for best practices on data collection
  • Training on how to use the spreadsheet and analyze key metrics
  • Note: this does not include data entry or analysis of the data
Additional Details

At Compass Affordable Housing we have been collecting specific program data utilizing data collection forms and inputting them into an excel tracker. I want the forms to feed into the tracker electronically so that in populates automatically and I then can pull the data/reports that I need specifically. For example, increase in income from the time of entry into our program through exit.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have Staff time and the fields to populate along with data, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Sample tracker along with reports, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $6,868 , allowing us to use these funds for direct services and assistance to low income, homeless, and single parent households

By easily tracking and reporting program performance and data, we save many hours of direct staff time that can be used elsewhere in the organization. In addition, this information allows us to solicit more funding and serve more people in our community.

  • Professional comes up with a set of key metrics to track
  • Professional outlines how to track each metric, including frequency of measurement and unit of measurement

Milestone 2: Data Collection and Analysis Tool Created
  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback on the suggested metrics
  • Professional incorporates feedback into final set of metrics
  • Professional creates a spreadsheet for Organization to collect data, along with relevant tables and graphs to help analyze data
