Project details

What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We would like to create a series of short videos that demonstrate the services we provide to the youth enrolled in our program. We are looking for videos targeted towards the at-risk youth we serve that highlight what we have to offer in hopes of increasing engagement and participation in our programs.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an outdated clip showing the vibe we're looking for, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have staff ready to collect footage and create a script, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to provide more basic needs like food, hygiene items, clothing, and school supplies to the vulnerable youth population in Pima County, AZ.

YOTO offers services such as financial assistance, food, hygiene supplies, and other forms of support to homeless youth facing barriers to graduate from high school. Short videos can help us get the message out to these teens that we are here to help, by connecting with them on their preferred platforms such as YouTube and Instagram.

Project plan

Our mission

Youth On Their Own (YOTO) supports the high school graduation and continued success of youth experiencing homelessness.

What we do

YOTO serves homeless Pima County (Arizona) youth in grades 6-12 by providing financial assistance (a monthly stipend and emergency bill payment assistance), basic human needs (free food, hygiene products, clothing, school supplies and more), and one-on-one guidance.

The graduation rate among YOTO students is currently 82% which is 4% higher than the AZ state average of 78%.

Testimonials

Garik was incredible to work with. He caught on right away to the look and feel we were wanting from a video and offered lots of great insight and advice every step of the way to help us complete our project goal. He was easy to communicate with and turned around work very quickly! Despite our limited resources with video equipment, he took the footage we had and turned it into an amazing edited video that is sure to help engage many of the youth we serve.
