We would like to create a series of short videos that demonstrate the services we provide to the youth enrolled in our program. We are looking for videos targeted towards the at-risk youth we serve that highlight what we have to offer in hopes of increasing engagement and participation in our programs.
YOTO offers services such as financial assistance, food, hygiene supplies, and other forms of support to homeless youth facing barriers to graduate from high school. Short videos can help us get the message out to these teens that we are here to help, by connecting with them on their preferred platforms such as YouTube and Instagram.
Youth On Their Own (YOTO) supports the high school graduation and continued success of homeless youth by providing financial assistance, basic human needs, and guidance.
YOTO serves homeless Pima County (Arizona) youth in grades 6-12 by providing financial assistance (a monthly stipend and emergency bill payment assistance), basic human needs (free food, hygiene products, clothing, school supplies and more), and guidance.
Last year, YOTO served 2,054 students - an 18% increase over the prior year. The graduation rate among YOTO students is currently 82% - 4% higher than the AZ state average of 78%.
