What we need
- Updates and/or fixes to Organization’s existing website (e.g., bug fixes, plugin or widget integration, etc.)
- Training for up to 3 Organization staff members on how to resolve minor issues going forward (if applicable)
Additional details
One of our webpages is a little buggy! Our staff is limited in their knowledge of working in Drupal -- we can't find where to find the page so that we can repopulate it with content.

- We currently have several working webpages to model after which should give you a good idea of what the broken page should look like.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to build more political power for Oakland's working-class, immigrant and communities of color!
Having a fully functional website is crucial for our organizing work! We want out volunteers, supporters and donors to be able to easily access information and learn more about our campaign work.

Our mission
Oakland Rising educates and mobilizes voters in the flatlands to speak up for and take charge of the issues impacting our lives. We are a multilingual, multiracial collaborative with deep roots in East and West Oakland's neighborhoods, proving that everyday residents working together have the power to change the way our city is run.
Our work focuses on three major goals through which we are developing critical and key pieces of infrastructure necessary to build progressive power in Oakland:
Build a permanent political/electoral infrastructure;
Exercise and expand political influence; and
Align organizations and coordinate with other progressive forces.
What we do
We develop key infrastructure necessary to build progressive power by:
Flexing People Power: We build and exercise progressive political power through mass-based electoral organizing and integrated strategies, including base-building and policy advocacy.
Aligning Like-Minded Forces: We align and coordinate citywide and regional progressive forces through our collaborative model to build the power and profile of the social justice movement.
Leading With Values: We recruit, train, advance and support progressive leaders who lead in a collaborative, accountable and values-based way that social justice.
