Project details

What we need
  • Setup and implementation of Google Workspace account and specific apps
  • Training for up to 5 staff on how to configure and use Google's apps
  • Note: Google Apps for Nonprofits (Google Workspace) is free for qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and includes 30GB of storage across Gmail and Google Drive
What we have in place
  • We currently have been using Google Drive and Docs and are familiar with it, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have approved GSuite application for our organization, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,296 , allowing us to have more funds for program expenses such as special guests for our online peer support groups or in-person networking events.

Our organization is growing and we need to communicate between full-time staff and new part-time staff working remotely in addition to board members, volunteers, interns and ambassadors which are located in different regions nationwide. This will help us communicate effectively and share information easily.

Our mission

BACKBONES exists to help people with spinal cord injury or disease (SCI/D) and their families connect with their communities. We do that by creating events and experiences that promote awareness and engage people of all abilities.es.

What we do

Whether someone has just been injured or it’s been years, it feels great to connect with someone who’s been there. Share ideas on trying a new sport, employment, tips on parenting, college experiences, or accessible travel destinations…

BACKBONES helps bridge that connection by finding and pairing people with similar spinal cord injuries (SCI), backgrounds, experiences, and hobbies.

Through BACKBONES’ Connections even if you are the only person in your town or city with a SCI, you’re part of something bigger… an entire group of people connected by common experiences!
