Additional details
Hi there,
I would love a passionate volunteer with HR experience to help me review our current employee manual. I would like for all of our employees to have one but would like to make sure it is up to date.Thank you so much in advance.
What we have in place
- We currently have an existing employee handbook, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have time, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to provide direct financial assistance for the families we serve.
Our agency provides services to families and friends of murder victims. I recently became a manager and my primary focus is to make sure that staff feels supported and like our agency has their back to be able to provide quality services/ Any questions they have about employment should be accessible immediately.

Advocating on behalf of their victims' rights on over 90 criminal cases, prosecuted at the county and federal level;
Providing emotional support and direct services to over 2,000 individual survivors through traditional support groups and hosting annual memorial events such as the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims and National Crime Victims Rights Week Candlelight Vigil;
Offering alternative therapies, such as Trauma informed Yoga and Equine Therapy to promote healing;
And providing over $17,000 in direct emergency financial assistance for expenses such as rent and utilities, travel related expenses and lodging for families to attend court, as well as cemetery plot donations.
