Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Project details
What we need
- Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
What we have in place
- We currently have a functional, comprehensive website + test Drupal site, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a communications drive full of images, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $16,822 , allowing us to put more funds towards serving Central Brooklyn with programs and seminars to help their housing situations.
Our current website is confusing, dated, and poorly organized, to say the least. We need something sleek, professional and well maintained that can speak to both donors and community members in the same breath with ease. Upgrading the website will make it easy for potential donors to learn of our work, encourage sign-ups for events and volunteer opportunities, and promote our services and presence throughout Central Brooklyn.
Project plan
Our mission
IMPACCT Brooklyn embraces a vision in which people strive together to build an equitable, diverse, engaged, and flourishing community in central Brooklyn.
We pursue five major goals:
* to preserve and develop safe and affordable housing, a basic human right;
* to support a vibrant local commerce
* to sustain and develop an economic, racial, and cultural diversity
* to promote knowledge and concerted action
* to foster an ethic that all members of the community contribute to the greater good.
What we do
IMPACCT Brooklyn is one of Brooklyn's premier community development corporations serving the neighborhoods of Bedford Stuyvesant, Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, Downtown Brooklyn, Crown Heights, Prospect Heights, and Prospect-Lefferts Gardens.
We work hand-in-hand with low- and moderate-income community members and stakeholders to preserve and develop affordable housing, provide quality property management, promote commercial revitalization and strengthen local businesses, create homeownership opportunities, protect tenant rights, combat predatory lending practices and prevent home-loss.
