What we need
  • Analysis of 1 set of survey data that is already at hand
  • Summary of key findings from survey data

We are undertaking a salary survey that will be distributed to nonprofits serving our region (Virginia Peninsula). We are in need of someone to analyze the data and help with writing a report based on the data collected.

What we have in place
  • We will begin distributing the survey next week on October 1, with a deadline of completed surveys set as October 18. We would like to have the report completed and ready for distribution NLT November 22 if possible.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,828 , allowing us to put our resources toward providing other programs to support our nonprofit members, including continuing education workshops, board training, a grants database, and expanded outreach to help them grow

NetworkPeninsula works to help strengthen nonprofits and build their capacity to remain sustainable. We provide tools to help them fulfill their missions effectively. One of the tools most requested by our nonprofits has been a salary survey so they can better assess their own compensation plans and move toward offering competitive salaries for their staff members.

  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the survey results to be analyzed and provides context of survey and explains response format that was chosen for the survey
  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the goal in mind when the survey was created and what insights would help serve the Organization

  • Professional reviews the results and and selects most appropriate analysis type based on data (i.e. nominal, ordinal, or interval data)
  • Professional conducts first round of analysis
  • Professional connects with Volunteer Manager for a brainstorming/overview session based on first analysis

  • Professional conducts second round of analysis and highlights most important findings
