Project details

What we need
  • A set of success metrics for the Organization's program such as key performance indicators and secondary performance indicators
  • Guidelines on how to measure success metrics, how often to measure them, and how to present metrics to internal and external stakeholders
Additional details

We are looking to gather data about college and university student food insecurity in New Jersey. Specifically-we are looking for the data on:
college/university student food insecurity in NJ
college/university student food insecurity at Rutger's Newark
how many students we can serve
Depending on the data, we may then look at the Northeast and the country. We are opening up one of our community restaurants in Newark, and would like to validate the location and know where to go next.

What we have in place
  • We currently have people and some data, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a dedicated person to support you, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $10,240 , allowing us to feed more students and help the schools where we set up our community restaurants to use their money for more learning.

We want to help break the cycle of poverty and food insecurity is part of that cycle. Even the lowest estimates of food insecurity highlight a serious problem on college campuses. Illinois researchers' lowest estimates found that food insecurity affects one in five, or about 20 percent of students. Apr 30, 2019
