What We Need
  • Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, one-pager/fact sheet, or fundraising/promotional materials
  • Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives
What We Have In Place
  • We currently have brochures and a website, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have grant proposals, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to use the money we saved to be utilized for direct program costs such as program staff, materials, and scholarships.

Sharing specific stories about how donations turn into tangible benefits for the communities we serve is one of the most effective ways of showing our supporters how much we appreciate them, and of encouraging them to keep giving.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides examples of existing communications and marketing materials such as links to website and social media, brochures, and other collateral
  • Volunteer Manager provides brand messaging guide and marketing strategy (if applicable)
  • Volunteer Manager communicates initial concept for deliverables to be created
Milestone 1: Information Gathering
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss goals of copywriting deliverables, target audience, and desired style and tone of writing
Milestone 2: First Draft
  • Professional shares first drafts of copy with Volunteer Manager for feedback with respect to style, tone, clarity, and length
Milestone 3: Finalize Copy
  • Professional incorporates feedback and submits final copy for review

Our Mission

Our mission is to help students define and accomplish their goals, develop character, build self-confidence, and to develop positive peer relationships. We seek to provide students with knowledge they need to reach their goals and aspirations. We seek to provide an environment that will provide each student with the best possible opportunity to experience personal growth both on interpersonal and interpersonal levels.

What We Do

We provide youth aged 8-20 with a variety of social, cultural, and recreational activtires primarily through the medium of basketball which includes: community service projects, social justice projects, enrichment activities, leadership development, international youth exchange program, educational programs and volunteerism.


Benjamin was an absolute perfect match for our organization and his creativity, professionalism, and feel for our organization’s goals, objectives, and vision were enabled him to work independently and deliver materials that spoke in clear concise language to tell our story. He was able to design brochures that were aesthetically pleasing and delivered our message in a way that was easy to follow, yet brings out our program information clearly while leaving room for the imagination of where we would like to go. I highly recommend Benjamin and we are forever in his debt.
