What we need
  • A new presentation, or update to an existing presentation in Powerpoint, Keynote, Google Slides, Prezi, or another presentation software
  • Best practices and tactics for structuring an effective presentation

Looking for assistance in producing an effective audio-visual presentation that explains how Neighborhood Legal Services partners and works with the United Way to improve the Pittsburgh region. The presentation should include an introduction, our civil legal aid story, the impact of our work. We want to utilize the presentation to engage donors, inspire audiences to make a difference and support meaningful community solutions.

What we have in place
  • We currently have stock photos and intern support, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a small budget to obtain video/client testimonials, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to provide legal help to more clients facing civil legal emergencies that threaten their personal safety, housing, health and income.

It is really hard for people to understand how lawyers can make a difference in people's lives. This will help us bring the value of civil legal aid and donations to life.

Our mission

NLS strives to meet the civil legal needs of the poor and vulnerable through effective legal representation and education. Our support takes many forms. We educate, we give advice, and we provide representation in court. Our clients all experience a legal in crisis, with their basic needs for safety and security being threatened by domestic violence, eviction and/or unscrupulous creditors. In every case, legal aid advocates quickly address the client's issues and provide compassionate effective intervention. Civil legal aid provided by NLS helps ensure fairness for all in the justice system, regardless of how much money you have.
