Project details

What we need
  • Feedback on the current website’s layout, user functionality, mobile-friendliness, visual design, content, and other key features
  • Clear articulation of the Organization’s goals for the website
  • Recommendations for improvements to help achieve the Organization’s desired goals
  • Note: If you are looking for a more specific, in-depth audit of your website's design and usability, try our Website Usability Audit project
Additional details

Feedback on the organization of the website.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a website built through Wix, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have data on site traffic, google analytics data, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to continue to provide hands-only CPR training throughout the Greater Williamsburg Community. This will also allow us to purchase life-saving AEDs to be placed throughout the community.

This project will help the HEARTSafe alliance better communicate its mission and programs through the website. Currently, it is felt that the website is clunky and disorganized. A website audit will help us better define the goals of our website and what we are trying to get out it.

Our mission

The HEARTSafe Alliance of Greater Williamsburg is a collaborative community initiative improving survival rates of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest through training, education, and awareness in the Greater Williamsburg community.

What we do

We provide free hands-only CPR/AED training to the community along with education about improving survival from sudden cardiac arrest. We are also working with our local fire departments to implement PulsePoint into our 911 call centers which will allow for citizen response to emergency cardiac events. Finally, we are working to fund a public access AED program which will increase access to AEDs throughout the community.

Testimonials

Caroline provided me with a clear direction to take on some issues with my website. After a few calls and emails, we were able to establish a plan on what I needed to fix with the website. She is very helpful and responds to any questions very quickly.
