What we have in place
- We currently have a Case Statement, 2.5 pages long, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a Community Needs Assessment underway now, report due Oct. 1, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,066 , allowing us to hire an intern from a local graphic arts program to help prepare our newsletter and print it in color.
Two aspects of our small community center's environment are changing:
1. our preschool enrollment is down because public schools are now accepting 4- year olds, and there are many more preschools in our area now;
2. charitable giving among smaller donors are down, related to the tax cut.
Our nonprofit community center has to adjust our programming and our fundraising to serve the low-income Latino and Asian residents of San Gabriel, CA. Presenting our case better to major donors is required.
