What we need
  • Document outlining relationship of board to your organization and metrics of board success
  • Document outlining scope of roles within board, including empty seats if applicable
Additional details

We need a clear and concise guideline on the role of our board ie responsibilities, roles and how they support the secretariat and organization to grow.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a description of our board members, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have staff, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,882 , allowing us to provide more services to our beneficiaries especially around micro-credits and scholarships

It will improve board efficiency and increase the organization's ability to deliver on its mandate

  • Volunteer Manager shares current or past role descriptions, if any, as well as relevant materials such as internal policies and procedures already in place
  • Professional connects with Volunteer Manager for brainstorming session to determine goals of board activity and involvement

  • Professional develops and submits draft of board member roles, board structure, and metrics for success to Volunteer Manager for review

  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback on Professional’s suggestions
