Storytelling
Storytelling
Project details
What we need
- A compelling narrative, or set of stories
- Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
- Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
- Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details
We are looking for support to build a compelling set of narratives that explain the problem we are working to address, the solution set we've developed, and capture why Energy Peace Partners came to be. The output of this project will be used for fundraising, public communications (website and social media), and potentially help serve as a basis for a short video.
What we have in place
- Our current communications collateral includes: a slide deck, our website, previous successful grant applications, and two authored reports.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to direct more resources to getting our pilot projects up and running.
Communications and storytelling is critical to successful fundraising. As a start up NGO, working on a complicated set of problems, being able to simplify and share a compelling story will help in our fundraising efforts, as well as building out further partnerships.
Project plan
Our mission
Energy Peace Partners leverages climate and finance solutions to promote peace in the world's most fragile regions.
Our climate-sensitive approach expands the existing toolkit for peace and development by extending the renewable energy revolution to some of the planet's most vulnerable populations.
We address the intersection of energy poverty, conflict risk and climate vulnerability to demonstrate the peace dividends of clean energy.
