What we need
- A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors
Additional details
2-3 targeted letters to launch our 2019 annual campaign (prefer launch in mid-late September). There are three primary audiences: 1) patients, 2) lapsed donors, 3) current donors. We send the letter via hard copy and also deliver email appeals throughout the campaign period (typically only 4-6 weeks, but extended this year due to urgent need).
What we have in place
- We currently have previously used annual campaign materials, stories, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have program activity data and demographics of patients, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,440 , allowing us to have external expertise in developing the annual campaign appeal. Without a volunteer for this project, it would be designed in-house. This will provide much needed assistance to our ED.
We have a critical funding need to raise $100,000 by the end of this calendar year. Our past annual campaigns have raised around $50-$70k from Nov - mid-Jan. We are anticipating a negative cash flow in October and need to launch our annual campaign earlier to improve cash flow during the final quarter of the year.

Our mission
TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation improves quality of life for patients with breast cancer by providing, promoting and advocating specialized and evidence-based rehabilitation.
What we do
TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation provides specialized physical therapy, massage therapy, lymphedema screening & management, nutritional counseling, emotional support, tailored exercise, and community and provider education. Our services are uniquely integrated to meet the needs of breast cancer patients and survivors during and after treatment. We serve metro Atlanta and the state of Georgia. We also have patients that visit from out of state because of our unique approach to helping breast cancer patients get back to doing the things that they love most.
