Social Media Set Up
Social Media Set Up
Project details
What we need
- Setup of professional social media profile(s) consistent with the Organization’s brand messaging in platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, etc.
- Training for the Organization’s staff on how to manage social media account(s)
Additional details
A newly independent organization for 2 years now, the African Advocacy Network (AAN) would like to get assistance with its social media set up. Apart from a Facebook page, a staff created and runs on his time, AAN has no presence on social media (Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, Youtube, etc.). This is a whole new terrain for us. The project would be great for a person willing to initiate it and cater to the specific needs of the organization.
What we have in place
- We currently have no real presence on social media, so this project si new, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an amateur Facebook page, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to acquire the necessary equipment for the production of high quality materials.
Providing immigration legal services and community education to African and Afro-Caribbean immigrants, we need to be better known in the communities and offer them tools they can refer to for updates on current and ongoing issues. For a community mostly relying on word of mouth with all the subsequent drawbacks making room for rumors, a Youtube channel could be a means to share accurate information as well as tell our stories.
Project plan
