What we need
  • A set of key metrics to regularly track
  • Spreadsheet tool to collect data on key metrics with accompanying tables and graphs for analysis
  • Training for best practices on data collection
  • Training on how to use the spreadsheet and analyze key metrics
  • Note: This project does not include data entry or analysis
Additional details

We are seeking a data collection method to tell us more information about the use of a donated sensory room for the Autism population in a Philadelphia public elementary school. We would like to use this data on the frequency of use in addition to the population using the room, to drive fundraising efforts for building future sensory rooms in future Philadelphia public schools.

What we have in place
  • We currently have 1 sensory room in use during the school year, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have feedback from the teachers and aide's who use the room, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,788 , allowing us to purchase items to fund our second sensory room to collect more data for future sensory rooms.

As parents of a child on the Autism Spectrum, we see the sense of urgency in creating a more inclusive world for our children but in also creating a safe space for their growth and development when the world is not as safe or welcoming as we would like it to be.

  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback on the suggested metrics
  • Professional incorporates feedback into final set of metrics
  • Professional creates a spreadsheet for Organization to collect data, along with relevant tables and graphs to help analyze data

  • Professional trains team members how to collect the data points and enter them into the tool
  • Professional trains team members how to run reports and use them for analysis
