What we need
  • Customized and professionally designed graphic(s)
  • Training on how to create and customize graphics using (free) design tools/apps

California Alliance for Arts Education is looking to create several custom graphics that coordinate with one of our program logos. These images will be used in PowerPoint presentations, social media, our website, etc. We have drafts of the graphic/slide content but need help with the visual presentation.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a logo design and design style guide with fonts and colors, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have drafts of the text for the graphics, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,607 , allowing us to empower more arts education leaders to advocate for arts education in their communities.

We need to clearly communicate our program goals and resources to our stakeholders. This is essential if we want to be effective in our goal of increasing access to arts education in California. A professional, cohesive, and compelling design will allow us to recruit new arts education advocates.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the intended platform(s) where graphics will be posted, ideas for copy, and images to include in the graphics (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the graphic, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines (if applicable)
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of graphics or memes they like with the Professional

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts three graphics using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of graphic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to three rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Graphic Delivered and Training
  • Professional delivers final version of the graphic and explains how to upload image(s) to the Organization’s chosen platform(s)
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager how to create and customize graphics
