Project details

What we need
  • Consultation regarding the Organization's current branding and desired branding objectives
  • Visual branding guidelines / style guide that include specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements to use in print and digital communications materials
  • High-resolution logo delivered electronically (in formats for digital and print use)
What we have in place
  • We currently have an organizational logo, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have specific colors, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to cover the full cost of Odyssey's 6-week program for two students.

Odyssey's 6th annual Fall Party, A Night Out for Odyssey, is our first large fundraiser of the fiscal year. As in past years, we anticipate it will bring together 200 guests, who share our commitment to educational access for all of Atlanta's youth. We currently do not have a logo for this event.

Our mission

Odyssey's mission is to expand the ambitions of Atlanta students and empower them on a successful journey to college and a fulfilling career. Odyssey, is a multi-summer educational program serving public school students from among Atlanta's most economically disadvantaged communities. Our motto is "A quest for knowledge, a path to college." By preserving academic momentum achieved during the school year, Odyssey promotes ambition towards higher education and inspires a love for life-long learning.

What we do

Held on the campus of The Westminster Schools in Buckhead, Odyssey offers a cost-free, academic full-day, 5 to 6 week summer enrichment program for nearly 400 students each year. This existing program has been in operation since 2005. We hire highly qualified and award-winning teachers from all across Atlanta who teach an academic curriculum grounded in reading, writing, and math. Odyssey is a leader in academic design thinking and project-based learning. Each grade level curriculum is founded on a theme; this theme helps govern what texts are taught, what field trips are attended, and what projects are completed. Each year, 100% of Odyssey seniors graduate on time, in contrast to 79% of APS students. All of them have been admitted into a college of their choice, and many have received full academic scholarships. Odyssey is committed to providing the skills and tools that our students will need to successfully navigate the college application process. Students in grades 9-12 take the PSAT and ACTs during the summer, they visit college campuses, meet with college counselors and financial aid officers. Rising seniors are also matched with mentors who will help guide them through the college application process through the school year. Our goal at the conclusion of each summer is for Odyssey scholars to be prepared to begin their school year, prepared to tackle the next grade with confidence and a passion for learning.
