Additional Details

We have an incredible event coming up and we'd love to engage our attendees throughout the night. We need support with creating geo-tags and stickers that will align with our upcoming event but also be applicable to our future events.
About our upcoming event, The Foto Awards:
The Foto Awards is a celebratory evening recognizing womxn photographers who inspire! The Foto Awards uplifts the incredible contributions womxn make to the creative world.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have event design assets, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have full style guide for our organization, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help

We know that social media can be a powerful tool to engage community members with our work. It not only provides a way for people to connect with us, but to also share, get people excited and open the door for new supporters.

Project may require a short interview with the organization.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials & Choosing Social Media Platforms
  • Volunteer Manager shares information with Professional about upcoming event and current social media presence
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the graphic, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines (if applicable)
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of graphics or designs they like with the professional
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree on social media platforms for posting
  • Volunteer Manager shares budget, if available

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts three graphics using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback for adjustments

Milestone 2: Final Graphic Delivered & Training
  • Professional delivers final version of the graphic and explains how to upload filter(s) to the Organization’s chosen platform(s)
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on how to create, customize, and upload graphics to social media platforms

Our Mission

Las Fotos Project, a project of Community Partners, is a non-profit, community-based photography program whose mission is to bring about positive change for teenage girls living in communities of color. Through one-on-one mentoring, photography trainings, and assigned field projects, Las Fotos Project provides a creative outlet for students, encouraging them to express their artistic talents and explore their imagination, while building self-confidence.
