What we need
  • Document outlining relationship of board to your organization and metrics of board success
  • Document outlining scope of roles within board, including empty seats if applicable
Additional details

We are looking for a better structure for our associate and sr. executive boards to boost productivity in initiatives, foster better engagement, and just enable more organization and process

What we have in place
  • We currently have our current board requirements as well as board initiatives, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have our website, bylaws, goals, etc., and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,882 , allowing us to focus dollars on direct relief for the homeless

We need an engaged and organized associate board to achieve all of our organizational goals!

  • Volunteer Manager shares current or past role descriptions, if any, as well as relevant materials such as internal policies and procedures already in place
  • Professional connects with Volunteer Manager for brainstorming session to determine goals of board activity and involvement

Milestone 1: Draft
  • Professional develops and submits draft of board member roles, board structure, and metrics for success to Volunteer Manager for review

  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback on Professional’s suggestions

Our mission

Street Samaritans is a 501(c)3 grassroots organization dedicated to alleviating the suffering of our homeless brothers and sisters in the Chicagoland area and serving them through: direct giving of living essentials and clothing, establishment of events and materials to educate the public on the realities and statistics of homelessness, connection with services and supports that enable access to education, housing, medical care, etc, and fellowship with the community and our volunteers to make genuine connections with and learn more about the homeless we encounter.
