Help to deliver better presentations to a group of program participants and to audiences at recruitment sessions. Improve how to scan resources to better understand program participants' needs. Utilizing presentation evaluations to adjust presentation materials and delivery

What we have in place
  • We currently have power points, printouts to present, handouts for audience,, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have email, phone and web cam,, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,660 , allowing us to save time on research and trainings. This will allow our organization to commit more of our budget to serve the previously incarcerated and homeless population to obtain gainful employment.

This project will help our organization achieve its goals by meeting our deliverables and outcomes. JARC's missions is to ensure that people who work do not live in poverty. My role is to provide soft skills coaching which assist program participants achieve high retention with their employer. It important to improve my public speaking delivery to better engage the participants so that the message is fully received and understood by all audience members. I want to be a more effective coach.

  • Professional and Volunteer Manager decide on specific areas to focus on and goals for coaching sessions

  • Professional reviews presentation materials and information (if applicable)
  • Professional drafts coaching plan
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss presentation goals
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss coaching plan and agree on/set dates for coaching sessions, as well as any preparatory work required

  • Professional and Volunteer Manager connect up to 5 times to practice and tailor presentation for specific audience(s)
