What we need
  • Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, blog post, one-pager/fact sheet, fundraising/promotional materials
  • Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives

We have a very compelling impact story about a woman who came to our domestic violence shelter with her 3 young boys. We have written up the facts and tried to put it into a compelling story. We would like help with this. The goal is to put it on a handout, with (stock) photos and use it in mailing thank you letters/receipts to keep donors abreast of their contribution.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the first draft of a story with approved facts, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have stock photos that we will use, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to spend time on other needs (we have minimal staff) and put the monies toward actual program needs.

Donors want to know of the impact of their contribution. We are not able to track very many of our clients because of confidentiality. This story we do know how it has transpired after 1 year. We want to be able to share this with contributors and in public.

Our mission

No one thinks straight in a crisis. We all need help to navigate the multiple systems involved with trauma, violence and poverty. HOPE's mission is to empower lives through hope, offering support, education and advocacy to anyone affected by child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence or homelessness.

What we do

We serve about 1700+ people a year in 2.5 rural counties in SE Minnesota. We have a domestic violence shelter, and offer advocacy and support to those who have experienced child abuse, sexual assault and homelessness. We are the only organization proving these services in our rural area.
