What we have in place
  • We currently have an up and running Facebook page, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have content for this year and photos from past events, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help

Our mission

The American Cancer Society's mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

What we do

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Our Global Headquarters are located in Atlanta, Georgia, and we have regional and local offices throughout the country to ensure we have a presence in every community.

While most people know us for our research, we do so much more. We attack cancer from every angle. We promote healthy lifestyles to help you prevent cancer. We research cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatments. We fight for lifesaving policy changes. We provide everything from emotional support to the latest cancer information for those who have been touched by cancer. And we do it all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Testimonials

(No testimonial has been submitted by Becca)
It was honestly a lot of fun working on a couple month's worth of social media posts for ACS. The project was for their regional office in Denver and their annual Champions of Hope gala, which is something that can generate a lot of donations and good will to support ending cancer, and hopefully this content will help create more attention on the event. Becca was great to work with and supportive of what I was sending her, and was super helpful in sending me plenty of resources so I was well informed as I worked on the project.
