Website Visual Design
Website Visual Design
Project details
What we need
- A visual redo of the Organization's website
- Design direction based on Organization's desired branding and style preferences
- Mock-ups of key site pages
- Commitment to 2 phone calls with a developer to guide initial front-end coding work
- Note: We recommend this project for custom websites. If your site is built on a CMS platform like Wordpress or Squarespace that offers templates, you may not need this project. Check out our Website Content Plan project for help building a CMS-based website
Additional details
We are launching a big new project with its own website and need help from a designer to select the Wordpress theme, colors, and design that will become the overall style branding for the project into the future.
What we have in place
- We currently have a backend set up on WordPress and ready to play with, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have some ideas for colors and intention, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $9,186 , allowing us to save money to fundraise for the project itself instead of pay for the website!
This website will be the core landing platform for a large $1.7M fundraising campaign to preserve 22 acres of ag land in perpetuity so it has to impress!

Our mission
Founded in 2006, Malama Kaua'i is a community-based, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that focuses on advocating, educating, and driving action towards a sustainable Kaua'i. We consider the interrelatedness of all issues and the need for a holistic approach, with a focus on three primary areas:
'Aina. We are rooted in the core value of aloha 'aina (love and connection to the land). We create solutions that foster sustainability and work in harmony with nature while producing abundant, healthy and local food.
Community. We care for our children, our economy, our society and our island's future. We envision a Kaua'i where people enjoy a high quality of life and the sense of community is strong.
Culture. We are built on healthy relationships with each other and our kinship with the land. We respect and perpetuate the local culture and indigenous wisdom of our ancestors.
What we do
Our programs and projects include:
Moloa'a 'AINA Center Food Hub
Village Harvest Gleaning Program
