We recently got a new logo designed and need to create an updated deck and brand guidelines to match this shift. We are looking for someone who has experience creating decks and brand guidelines before.
In order to tell the stories of our entrepreneurs and their impact we need great marketing material. This allows us to grow the impact of what we do!
Somo’s mission is to identify, train, fund and mentor entrepreneurs looking to drive social change by building enterprises in their own low-income urban communities.
The Somo Project was started to invest in social entrepreneurs committed to changing their own under-resourced communities, and to provide the necessary training and tools they need to succeed. In Swahili, somo means “to learn lessons.” We called the organization the Somo Project because we believe that talented and visionary entrepreneurs exist, specifically in areas of high-poverty — but their lessons and learnings are overlooked in development initiatives. We identify people with intimate knowledge of their communities and the relevant social context to address problems such as sanitation, nutrition, job training, and education. Somo partners with people to find their own solutions rather than dictating what their communities need.
