Project details

What we need
  • Customized and professionally designed graphic(s)
  • Training on how to create and customize graphics using (free) design tools/apps
Additional details

As our national dialogue continues to focus on immigration and asylum, GAIN needs your help to capture the momentum and bring more awareness to our work and the needs of our clients. Our client privacy is very important, so we tend to depend on stock photography, and we would love to have an image bank! It would be incredibly beneficial to also have a few images/graphics that we could use for digital fundraising as well.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a short brand guide, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have brand voice documents and a strong mission and vision, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,607 , allowing us to help more clients!

Many if not most potential volunteers, donors, and even clients interact with GAIN digitally before they interact with us personally. This project could help us show them who we are and drive awareness around the critical issues we work with, namely immigrant's human rights and immigration legal support for victims of crime and persecution.

Our mission

Georgia Asylum & Immigration Network (GAIN)'s mission is to to provide free immigration legal services to victims of crime and persecution. Our vision is safety, freedom, and opportunity for all.

What we do

Since its inception in 2005, Georgia Asylum & Immigration Network (GAIN) has served Georgia's vulnerable immigrant community with pro bono legal representation.

GAIN attorneys train and mentor volunteer attorneys, screen cases, and offer technical assistance in immigration matters, while taking on a small percentage of our cases, usually with complex needs, through direct representation. Our impact has grown over time as we expanded the Asylum program's successful model of training and mentoring volunteer attorneys to create the Victims of Violence program for victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes.

Since 2005, through direct representation and pro bono referrals, GAIN has helped over 6,600 women, men, and children secure immigration status as a result of a prior victimization or fear of persecution.

Testimonials

Andy was a pleasure to work with. He was kind, professional, and flexible. I am so grateful that he was willing to lend his talents to our small nonprofit. We would not have been able to find, contract, and pay for a custom illustration like this without his generous volunteering!
