Project details

What we need
  • Consultation regarding the Organization's current branding and desired branding objectives
  • Visual branding guidelines / style guide that include specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements to use in print and digital communications materials
  • High-resolution logo delivered electronically (in formats for digital and print use)
Additional details

The Clarkston Food Initiative is a strategic partnership between Friends of Refugees and other organizations in the city of Clarkston. We build upon existing efforts to connect those who have come to the U.S. as refugees to opportunities to grow and eat nutritious and culturally-appropriate food. We have grown in membership, and our reputation in Clarkston is growing as well. As we seek to develop more partnerships, we are in need of a logo with which to brand ourselves.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a tagline, promotional language, and a visioning document, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a network of members and a strategic planning process, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,550 , allowing us to Purchase promotional materials branded with our logo and materials we need for gardening workshops.

The Clarkston Food Initiative has been working on projects in the community that have increased the amount of space residents have to grow their own food. We've held multiple community events. We've published educational nutrition resources. The CFI has gained the trust and support of the community. With a logo, we will be able to brand our existing resources, and create signs and banners to show the community who we are. This will help solidify our place in the community, and continue to grow.

Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity Project

I had a great time working with the Friends of Refugees team - they were very specific about their feedback, which is great to see in any design project, and gave me a lot of creative freedom. I also really support their mission and wish them all the best in their future endeavors!
