What we need
  • Strategy for using Instagram to engage your community, tailored to Organization’s goals and target audience
  • Training on how to find and post content on Instagram
Additional details

I'm specifically looking for someone who has knowledge around how advocacy organizations are effectively using Instagram to recruit and engage volunteers and drive advocacy-related action. I'm also interested to hear about effective metrics for an organization like ours. Rather than a strategy, I'm seeking someone who can audit our Instagram account and provide recommendations based on our goals.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a designer to assist with image design, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a person on my team tasked with executing our program, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to more effectively leverage Instagram to grow the organization and engage our volunteers.

We are an organization that needs to diversity its volunteer base in order to continue our strength as the nation's leading cancer advocacy organization. Instagram could be an important tool in helping us become more relevant to younger and more ethnically diverse audiences.

  • Volunteer Manager shares Instagram credentials with Professional, if an existing account exists
  • Professional sets up account with bio and profile picture

  • Professional recommends other types of accounts to follow and hashtags to use in order to build follower base
  • Professional recommends types and frequency of content to post on account (including posts, stories, and live videos)
