Project details

What we need
  • Specific copy from one document (up to 1000 words) translated from one language to one other of the Organization's choice
  • Note: If you need more than 1000 words translated or copy translated into more than one language, please post additional versions of this project
Additional details

We are looking for a volunteer to translate our garden job descriptions from English to Spanish. There are 11 total that have about 600 words each. We will let you decide how much of this project you would like to take on!
There is quite a bit of technical garden based jargon used. But we will have a Spanish speaking gardener available for you to consult with if needed.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the completed documents in English, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a conversational Spanish speaking employee to consult with, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,098 , allowing us to expand our reach to more gardeners in our community that are Spanish speaking only.

Our organization is making strides in updating both the documents used and the resources available in our community gardens to be more open and accessible to members of our community that are Spanish speaking. As a community organization we want the people using our services to reflect the diversity that is in our neighborhoods.
