Google Analytics Set Up & Training
Google Analytics Set Up & Training
Project details
What we need
- Setup of Google Analytics account and tracking codes for web assets (e.g. mobile apps, website, blog, social media)
- Training on how to track performance, set up reports and analyze the data collected online
- Set of guidelines for data collection, interpretation and analysis
Additional details
Our organization has already "set up" Google Analytics, however it was done by a former employee and it hasn't been managed. Current employees don't have training in Google Analytics.
What we have in place
- We currently have all of the above resources to get started. The staff member in question has basic web development skills. A third party contractor has deeper understanding of how to website is constructed
How this will help
This project will save us $6,772 , allowing us to hire a seasonal contractor to support our year-round staff and the execution of our annual Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival.
For some time now our approach to digital marketing has relied too heavily on subjective input, supplemented by flawed analytics due to a lack of oversight. By applying best practices to our approach, and having a fully trained employee on staff, we can learn a great deal more about who our customers are, how well we are serving them, and how we can improve. Ultimately this will help us better serve our community.
Project plan
Our mission
Founded in 1962, the MSP Film Society is Minnesota's foremost film exhibition organization, and a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We bring the best of international and independent cinema to Minnesota audiences through the Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival, numerous niche film festivals and series, and daily programming 365-days a year.
What we do
We promote the art of film as a medium that fosters cross-cultural understanding, education, entertainment, and exploration. We offer audiences unique opportunities to experience the wealth of international cinema, to engage with and learn from visiting international filmmakers, and to come together and share these experiences as a community.
