Project details

What we need
  • Tightly-written web copy of up to to eight pages of 200-300 words each
  • The opportunity to work closely with an experienced, SEO literate copywriter
Additional details

We are looking for expert copywriting assistance to transform the "Learn" pages of our website (www.projectgivingkids.org) into informational and inspirational pages for youth that connect them to meaningful data points, on-message reference sources, and more. These pages will provide a consistent conceptual framework that lead users to understand the issue/concept at hand and provide a compelling case for involvement and action.

What we have in place
  • We currently have live "Learn" pages already on the site, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have staff with specific ideas for re-tooling these pages, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,073 , allowing us to focus on increasing traffic to our website and making sure more users benefit from these - and all our - pages of rich information.

The "Learn" pages of our website provide a framework for understanding the different cause areas that tie into the many service opportunities presented on our platform. They also represent an opportunity to increase our SEO and are not currently optimized for either purpose. We need to retool these pages to make sure they are current, relevant and valuable to our site users.

Our mission

Project Giving Kids is a 501 (c)(3) public charity that uses technology to Connect Kids to Causes. The goal: to cultivate empathy in young children by connecting them to age-appropriate service opportunities at a critical time in their development and to strengthen the overall capacity of the nonprofit sector by uniting existing nonprofits with new volunteers and donors. Project Giving Kids (PGK) does this through an easy-to-navigate online platform designed for kids. Ultimately, PGK aims to become the go-to resource for kids (and those who love kids) looking to give back. By taking the time to partner with quality nonprofits providing fun opportunities to make a difference, Project Giving Kids take the guesswork out of the equation and provides great ideas that allow kids to begin the giving journey, anytime and anywhere.
