What We Need
  • A volunteer recruitment strategy that outlines: potential volunteer market, timeline, strategies for outreach and recommendations for implementation (potential risks, possible management tools, etc.)
Additional Details

1. Volunteer recruitment plan - how to outreach to volunteers interested in the arts and culture.
2. Volunteer retention strategy - creating a system to better retain current volunteers.
3. Marketing plan for Volunteer Program - social media, content generation to advertise program.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have some volunteer recruitment collateral, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a volunteer handbook and guidelines, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help

Glendale Arts is the nonprofit organization that manages the historic Alex Theatre, and we are in constant need of support from the community to continue our day-to-day operations. The Glendale Arts Volunteer Program has not had consistent leadership for some time, but this project will help create a solid foundation for us to recruit, retain, and continue to serve the community and its members.

Project may require a short interview with the organization.

  • Professional provides recommendations on what roles the volunteer program should focus on, a realistic timeline for recruitment, and identifies ways for organization to find volunteers
