This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to invest time building the relationships necessary and distributing the content developed to secure the funding/opportunities necessary to increase organizational sustainability.

What We Need
  • Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, one-pager/fact sheet, or fundraising/promotional materials
  • Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives
Additional Details

We are looking to expand into workforce development as a fee for service/contract based arena to ensure program sustainability of our Urban green Jobs program. We want marketing materials that portray our team's expertise, experience and impact. 1 pager, a brochure and digital newsletter template for monthly reports.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have 6 reports and 1 newsletter worth of content, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a website, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help

This will offer an opportunity for longer term employment for beneficiaries and position the organization to diversify streams of funding/income for program sustainability.

Project may require a short interview with the organization.

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss goals of copywriting deliverables, target audience, and desired style and tone of writing

HABESHA (Helping Africa By Establishing Schools at Home and Abroad), Inc. is a Pan-African organization that cultivates leadership in youth and families through practical experiences in cultural education, sustainable agriculture, entrepreneurship, holistic health, and technology.

Founded in 2002, HABESHA utilizes project-based learning and experiential learning models to develop peer educators in underserved communities in Atlanta. As an agent of positive social change, HABESHA accomplishes its mission through community service, media production, cultural events, & educational workshops. Since its inception, HABESHA has branched out to begin work in Africa and has an established NGO, HABESHA Foundation, where it continues the mission internationally.
