Additional details
The Sex Workers Project is launching an outreach campaign this summer. Our goal is to to increase the number of clients that we serve and expand our services to diverse communities of New York City. We offer therapy and referrals to sex workers and survivors of human trafficking. We urgently need a graphic designer to help us design a basic promotional brochure that we can print on card stock and share electronically by June 28th.
What we have in place
- We currently have visual branding guidelines, text for brochure, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have logo designs, card stock, color printer, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to provide free, life saving services to an underserved population of New York City, offer free Metrocards to our clients, and conduct educational workshops.
By increasing the number of clients that we serve, we will be able to meet our funding deliverables which are crucial for our project's economic survival.

Our mission
The Sex Workers Project (SWP) at the Urban Justice Center is the first and only program in the country to focus on the provision of legal and social services to sex workers, by protecting and promoting the rights of individuals who engage in sex work, regardless of whether they do so by choice, circumstance, or coercion. We engage in in media advocacy, support sex worker-led organizing and pursue policy change. Together, we are working to create a world that is safe for sex workers and where human trafficking does not exist.
What we do
We provide free therapy and immigration legal services to survivors of trafficking and sex workers. We engage in policy advocacy, and community education.
