What we need
- An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage

Centro de Derechos del Migrante is looking for a creative BILINGUAL SPANISH ENGLISH video-editor to turn an approximately two hour recording (switches between languages) of our Contratadas Chronicles event (in which guest worker women shared intimate stories about the many abuses they suffered, and how isolated they felt, in a system that did not always protect them) into a 2-3 minute powerful summary of the event. Subtitles required. Able to start end of June/early July.
What we have in place
- We have a video recording of the event, including pre and post footage. We will be happy to provide a story board and, if helpful, will search for examples of styles we like.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to train workers/families in participatory know-your-rights workshops throughout Mexico; help bring workers to meet with policy makers to advocate for better protections for all H-2A, H-2B workers.
CDM supports Mexico-based migrant workers to defend and protect their rights as they move between their home communities and their workplaces. A summary of our powerful storytelling event in which 5 women shared intimate stories about the many abuses they suffered, and how isolated they felt, in a system that did not always protect them would allow us to show more people, from Policy Makers to Allies why this work is important and urgent.
