Project details

What we need
  • Specific copy from one document (up to 1000 words) translated from one language to one other of the Organization's choice
  • Note: If you need more than 1000 words translated or copy translated into more than one language, please post additional versions of this project
What we have in place
  • We currently have materials finalized, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a clinical consultant who can help, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,098 , allowing us to provide more resources & consultation to ensure CA's foster youth have access to info and services so they can make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health and care.

More than 50% of youth in foster care will become pregnant by age 19. SB 89, a CA legislation, now requires that social workers discuss with youth about their rights to sexual health information, services, and help in removing barriers to access. We have developed a social worker guide and youth factsheets to help social workers navigate these sensitive yet important conversations but would like to translate them into Spanish to broaden the audience reach of the resources.

Testimonials

Great work! We have several pieces of material that had already been translated and I needed a second eye to the translation that we were provided. Alejandro was able to pick up areas that needed some improvement and made the translation into something friendlier for native speakers. Thank you for working on this project with us!
