Membership Strategy
Membership Strategy
Project details
What we need
- A Membership Strategy document of 2-4 pages, including analysis of the Organization’s current membership program, step-by-step guide to a new or improved program, growth goals and creative outreach strategies
Additional details
Our organization, the Jackson Hole Center for Global Affairs (www.jhcga.org) is an NGO that works to create climate change leadership with a focus on the role of coal communities. We are creating a new network to bring these communities together to hasten climate action. To support and grow the network we hope to have members, with corporate members supporting financial support. We do not have deep experience in creating membership models.
What we have in place
- We currently have a track record and concept note of our goals, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have organizational flexibility to explore this route, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,848 , allowing us to allocate our limited resources to other areas of need.
The ongoing engagement and financial support of a membership program will be crucial in giving us the stability to set a multi-year goal and build the capacity needed to reach our global impact ambitions.

Our mission
The Jackson Hole Center for Global Affairs works on climate action for coal communities. JHCGA's theory of change is that global climate action will only accelerate economically, politically, and culturally when coal communities lead in generating their own economically driven climate solutions. Since 2002 JHCGA has promoted this theory to foster climate solutions for the globe's largest coal producers in the U.S. and China.
