What we need
- Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
- Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information

What we have in place
- We currently have a written employee handbook, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have recently been working on updating the handbook, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to provide up-to-date computers to our patrons, giving them the ability to connect to information, knowledge, and opportunities.
One goal of the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library is to present library staff with an Employee Handbook, which provides answers to them in regards to library benefits, policies, procedures and our responsibilities to them and their responsibilities to us. Having our Employee Handbook reviewed by professional volunteers will be most helpful in assuring we have all of the basics covered clearly and consistently and to ensure we are compliant with federal and state laws.
