Project details

What we need
  • Feedback on the current website’s layout, user functionality, mobile-friendliness, visual design, content, and other key features
  • Clear articulation of the Organization’s goals for the website
  • Recommendations for improvements to help achieve the Organization’s desired goals
  • Note: If you are looking for a more specific, in-depth audit of your website's design and usability, try our Website Usability Audit project
Additional details

We are about to embark on a major overhaul of our website and are looking for help on how to make it a better experience for site visitors. We are looking for help on improving the flow, organization, and content. We want our website to: educate readers on our work & local climate issues, inspire action (join our list, sign a petition, donate), be a resource for current volunteers.

What we have in place
  • We currently have our goals for our website and staff ready to help, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have raw Google Analytics data from this year, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,782 , allowing us to put more resources into our campaigns including motivating statewide divestment from fossil fuels, protecting communities from fracking, and promoting renewable energy.

As the largest grassroots group working on solving the climate crisis in Colorado, our website should be a resource for everyday citizens, volunteers, partner groups and beyond. As a small staff, we haven't had the capacity to give it the attention it deserves. Our Google Analytics data show a high drop off rates and low rates of individuals taking action. Helping us audit our website will help strengthen the Colorado climate movement by getting our site visitors to take climate action!

Testimonials

Tim was a fantastic volunteer! We really appreciated how involved we were in the process, allowing us to learn more about website audits and best practices we should use in the future. The finished project is a professional and informative presentation, that we can take not only take to a web designer but also use internally. Tim treated us like important clients, always kept us in the loop, and was happy to answer any questions! Thank you Tim!
