What We Need
  • 3-5 one hour strategy sessions covering topics like potential volunteer market, timeline, strategies for outreach and recommendations for implementation (potential risks, possible management tools, etc.)
  • A written summary of goals, target audiences and channels to prioritize
  • A starter plan of recommendations & actionable next steps to begin executing your strategy.

Volunteers make our organization what it is! Because we work with different vocational skills and trades we need to enlist multiple volunteers with specialized training and/or skills. We would love help with a strategy on how to do this to the best of our ability

How This Will Help
This project will save us $2,866 , allowing us to upgrade our vocational equipment, provide more training and impact more youth in our community.

Volunteers and mentors make up such a huge part of our organization! To be able to recruit and retain quality, skilled and experienced volunteers in any of our trade areas will help us fulfill our mission and let more youth into our program! It will also help take some pressure off our staff who is already wearing multiple non-profit hats ;)

Prep: Information Gathering
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with past volunteer recruitment descriptions and list of Organizational needs and opportunities for volunteer support
Milestone 2: Strategy sessions
  • Up to 3 strategy sessions with Professional to discuss what roles the volunteer program should focus on, a realistic timeline for recruitment, and identify ways for the organization to find volunteers
  • [Suggested session] Evaluating current volunteer recruitment strategy, successes and failures
  • [Suggested session] Identifying where to post volunteer opportunities and content of posting
  • [Suggested session] Discussing marketing tactics and potential partnerships
Milestone 3: Next Steps

Professional shares brief with summary of discussion, agreed upon marketing strategies & tactics to prioritize, and areas for further exploration
