The Matthew 25 Farm is 501(c)(3) entity with two farm locations in CNY. We grow and harvest tens of thousands of pounds of fresh produce annually and distribute it to food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, refugees, etc who are suffering from food insecurity. We currently run a successful golf tournament and park cars at a local festival. We do obtain contributions from individuals, groups, etc, but we are facing for the first time a significant short-fall for 2020. Please Help!

What we have in place
  • We currently have operating budget for 2019 and 2020 should be about the same, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an individual who will do whatever she can to assist., and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $10,242 , allowing us to move forward into 2020 and helping me to get a better night's sleep!

We want to see the farm continue. Each year the area we serve grows larger and larger. In the past due to some extremely large contributions in the early years, we always had at least $50,000 set aside for the following year. This will be the first time we have no money set aside to go into the next year. We write grants, but few allow us to go for operating costs, and we have the equipment, etc that we need. Now we just need to find more ways to raise money to keep going.

  • Professional and Volunteer Manager brainstorm potential revenue-generation streams and potential target markets
  • Professional provides analysis of Organization’s existing approach to funding and program beneficiaries and a competitive benchmarking of peer organizations
