Employee Handbook
Employee Handbook
Project details
What we need
- Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
- Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information
Additional details
We have an existing employee handbook but would like to have it audited to make sure we are properly covering all bases. Depending on the outcomes of the audit, we would like to edit the existing or create a new handbook that we can provide to current and future staff.
What we have in place
- We currently have an existing employee handbook and a draft employee contract, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a parent handbook for the school, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,330 , allowing us to dedicate funds towards classroom and program supplies that will directly support our students.
We are a small independent school, nearing completion of our third school year. As we grow and evolve, we are looking to formalize our organizational structure and establish our organizational infrastructure to set us up for further growth and advancement. By creating a robust and sound employee handbook, this project will equip us to retain, recruit, and effectively manage faculty and staff.
Project plan
Our mission
Grounded in the language, values, and 'Ike of our kupuna, Ke Kula 'o Pi'ilani strives to inspire a lifelong love of learning by cultivating an enriching environment in which diverse students grow to be united, confident, globally competitive servant leaders who think critically and creatively to contribute to the betterment of Maui, Hawaii, and the world.
What we do
We are an independent school, currently educating students in Kindergarten through third grade. We deliver a values-based curriculum, through the Hawaiian language, seen through the Hawaiian lens. Our values are: ALOHA, for ourselves, each other, and the world around us; 'IMI 'IKE, the continuous search for knowledge; and KULEANA, upholding our responsibilities that stem from our aloha and our drive to 'imi 'ike.
