Project details

What we need
  • Designs for one piece of marketing or communications collateral (e.g., fact sheet, case study, event invitations)
  • Templates with accurate, print-ready specifications
  • Note: Please post an additional project if more than one piece of collateral is needed
Additional details

We need three to four print ad designs that will be used in an ongoing campaign sponsored by our local newspaper, the Marin Independent Journal. Through this Giving Marin campaign, local businesses sponsor ads for nonprofits. We have placed three ads in the past year but need design help to prepare new ads so we can take advantage of this free opportunity to spread the word about our work to end homelessness and our social enterprises.

What we have in place
  • We currently have images and prepared text, plus examples of previous ads, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have specs for the ads, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $703 , allowing us to provide shelter and services (daily cost $40 per person) to 75 people or a full dinner (daily cost $4.50 per person) to 12 seniors in supportive housing for two months.

This project will help raise the profile of Homeward Bound of Marin and our services for homeless individuals, hopefully attracting new supporters. Just as important, it will spotlight our celebrity chef events and other social enterprises, which support our work with proceeds. One ad also would feature our culinary job-training program, which is open to low-income or homeless students from the community.

Print Materials Design Project

All of the materials to produce the ads were readily available and for those that weren't they were sent in a very timely manner. I would help them again on any project as I fully support the work they are doing.
