What we need
- Updates and/or fixes to the Organization’s existing website (e.g., update copy or images, fix bugs, integrate plugins or widgets, customize styles/themes, etc.)
- Training for the Organization's staff on how to update website content and resolve minor issues (if applicable)
Additional details
We are in the process of updating our website in time for a June 1st launch--we believe we are 70% there, however need additional support with updating website copy, layout, fresh design of pages with critical eye, images, and widget plug-ins.
We are currently working within the Firespring CMS-based website design (Pillar), and need a website developer who is comfortable using this system or similar CMS-baed websites.
What we have in place
- We currently have full lists of edits (though we are still working on copy), which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have full list of images to be replaced with links in Box, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to dig deeper into our program operations and focus on organizational support for our nonprofit clients!
This project is important for the launch of an important nonprofit field project that we have been working on to get ready for June 1st, where we will be presenting on a city-wide scale--so super important for us to have our visual and media up to date. In addition, we are preparing for an upcoming anniversary.

Cause Effective helps nonprofits to diversify funding, builds capacity for individual fundraising, activates nonprofit boards for fundraising, and helps boards build effective governance structure, and achieve the greatest value from special events and anniversaries. We provide carefully tailored advice through one-on-one coaching, workshops, publications and online resources to strengthen each client's unique and enduring ability to support its mission.
Over 2,000 organizations sought Cause Effective's assistance in 2011 - nearly a 300% increase from the past. We work with an incredible variety of nonprofits in New York (and beyond) to help them envision and enable long-term growth and change.
