What we need
- Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
- Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information

We'd like to have someone professionally audit and edit updates we've made to our employee manual, specifically to make sure it adheres to California employment law.
What we have in place
- We currently have An updated employee handbook, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the previous version of the handbook for reference of change, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to focus on a ballot initiative to fund child care in Oakland and Alameda County.
We're a small organization of 4 staff people, though looking to grow in the next few years. It is crucial to have an updated manual in compliance with state low while we grow.

By advancing equitable early education policy, we are building pipelines to quality educational experiences and dismantling the school to prison pipeline.
Parent Leadership is a foundational and ongoing practice that ensures the sustainability of our organization, is grounded in human development, and drives our campaign work.
