What we need
  • Setup or update of accounting system in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Training and guidelines on how to manage system and generate basic reports
What we have in place
  • We currently have Some spreadsheets ( pen & paper), which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Excel spreadsheet, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,409 , allowing us to focus on the research of our financial stability

Because I need to learn how effectively utilize excel so that the business financial health is healthy and I'm confident when speaking about the numbers of our business.

Prep: Information Sharing
  • Volunteer Manager shares existing financial record keeping methods and/or financial reporting system
  • Volunteer Manager shares Organization's financial reporting needs and goals
  • Professional makes recommendations on accounting system reports to address the Organization's needs
  • Note: If necessary, Volunteer Manager may have Volunteer sign a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to sharing and discussing Organization’s financial information

Milestone 1: Implementation
  • If necessary, Professional migrates data into Excel
  • If necessary, Professional and Volunteer Manager check accuracy of migration
  • Professional organizes spreadsheet based on Organization's needs

Milestone 2: Training & Handover
  • Professional provides basic training for Volunteer Manager and supporting staff for tracking and reporting, including guidelines for continued use of system
  • Professional reviews above guidelines and tips with Volunteer Manager
  • Professional stays available for up to two weeks to address questions as Volunteer Manager starts to adopt new bookkeeping system

What we do

Provide single parents in college, trade school & apprenticeship programs a wraparound support system to help them to stay in class.
Quick Facts:
1. Single parents have the highest drop out rate in higher learning
2. It takes single parents 3 times longer to graduate .
3. Single Parents that receive supportive services( TSSP) increase in graduation rate of 47.1%
